Al Falah Cats

On the afternoon of Friday the 27th September 2023 – A lady stumbled upon the most horrific Animal Abuse scene we have ever seen.  In Al Falah region, in a desert area far from and Houses – There were hundreds of cats !  

Some starving, dehydrated or already passed away.  She posted a horrifying video on social media – Within hours, there was a full rescue operations in affect in the area.

Up Till the writing of this article, 1st October 2023 – 79 Cats have been rescued.  The site is now going to be made into a monitored feeding site and cats who now turn up will be given help before any suffering takes place.

Please see more information below on how you can help.  Please remember that this was not the fault or the actions of the UAE or the UAE officials, they have been very engaged in helping the rescuers and are investigating.  This was the actions of INDIVIDUALS who refused to follow TNR regulations or humane actions towards animals.  We need to all pull together to help the authorities to investigate and find the responsible people.

In Addition, there were two Dogs on the same site, one surrendered by the owner (living outside in a cage) and is now under the care of RuffpawZ – we will post more soon.  One Husky that has sadly passed away within the last few days and whom was not chipped.

These cats and the Husky were left in the worst possible situation without access to shade, food or water. No way to fend for themselves.  This the ultimate act of cruelty !

We have started to compile the list of microchips found at the site.  This may not be totally accurate as there is still much confusion so please bare with us.  If you have an Al Falah Cat please register you cat with us so we can look for an existing owner and try to find a patters in where the cats were chipped to help find the responsible people.

If you are looking for a cat please check the list – the deceased cats that were scanned are listed, if your cat is on this list then we are deeply saddened and sending our love and prayers.

Please register your Al Falah cat with us, it is super important we get all the Microchip numbers to ensure that if there are owners looking for their cats we can reunite them.  It will also help us track the cat journey and assist the authorities to find the responsible person.  We are very happy these cats are now safe but if there are owners out there looking for cats that are lost, we would like to reunite.  Register your using the button below.
